Join Edison High School's Best Buddies club to have fun, exercise, and promote respect for the intellectually disabled at  R-Word Walk 2012. R-Word Walk is a community walk in Northern Virginia to raise awareness of the Spread the Word to End the Word campaign. The purpose of this campaign is to end the use of the word "retarded" and educate the community about the hurtful connotations of the word. The date of the walk is April 28 from 2 PM to 4PM.
