Christopher's Flowers Expecting Hundreds of Orders for Valentine's Day
Owner Maria Bursenos and her employees have been receiving orders since the end of January.
Maria Bursenos and her employees have been taking phone calls for Valentine's Day orders since the end of January at her shop, Christopher's Flowers located at the Hayfield Center on Telegraph Road.
"We have color roses, and the red roses are really selling now. We've been preparing for it since the end of January, and we'll get more roses in on Saturday and Sunday," Bursenos said.
Bursenos said they're expecting a total of about 700 orders for Valentine's Day based on last year's numbers, and some customers started ordering last week.
"We train some of our customers, and suggest they order their arrangements to be delivered the day before, so they can enjoy the flowers," Bursenos said.
Bursenos said they always have extra roses and other popular flowers around this time for those who order at the last minute. Christopher's Flowers only has one delivery person, but Bursenos said her son's friends usually come to help out when they can.
Christopher's Flowers will have color roses, lilies and the popular red roses available among other floral arrangements.
