The construction on Kingstowne Boulevard near Kohl's will be an office building, according to a spokesperson for Lee District Supervisor Jeff McKay (D).

The property, at the corner of Kingstowne Boulevard and Van Dorn Street, will be the site of an eight-story office building and four-story parking deck. The project was approved in 1999, according to McKay spokesperson Linda Waller.

The property is being built by the Halle Companies, which also own parts of Kingstowne Towne Center.
