The Edison Eagles used a dominant first half to pull out another victory, ultimately beating Washington-Lee 62-44.

The Eagles held a mere six point lead in the first quarter, but pulled away in the remaining three quarters, as their lead never dipped below 18 once it ballooned that large.

Edison senior Krystyna Watts had a solid night defensively and offensively, and teammate Brittany Allen had multiple 3-pointers.

General Katrina Cook carried the offensive load for her team, with help from Katrina Cook and strong defense from Emma Cooper.

Throughout the second half, the Generals defense played with increased intensity and ferocity, but failed to prevent Allen from finding the range from beyond the arc or Ruth Sherrill from owning the fourth quarter.

Washington-Lee will next play Falls Church and Edison will play Wakefield, both home games on Feb. 7.
