The Edison High School girls' basketball team beat Centreville High School 58-53, in the regional semi-finals Thursday night at Robinson Secondary School, taking them into the Northern Region Championship.
The Lady Eagles also won against Madison High School Tuesday night, 63-33. The team's overall season record is currently 22-4. They beat Hayfield Secondary School and Wakefield High School in the National District Tournament earlier this month, but lost the district championship against Mount Vernon High School, 63-77.
The team will play South Lake at 6 p.m. Saturday at Robinson. Tickets for the game are $7 at the door.
