Funeral arrangements have been made for Saniye Tetik White, a local homeless woman who was found dead last week outside of Franconia Government Center.

An open house will be held this Wednesday, Aug. 17, at 6935 Mary Caroline Circle, Unit G in Alexandria. The gathering will take place from 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. and give community members a chance to remember and celebrate White's life.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, Aug. 19. A service will be held at Aden Muslim Funeral Services at 1242 Easy Street in Woodbridge at 10:30 a.m. Afterwards, the body will be taken to a mosque for prayer at 1 p.m. Following this prayer service, White will be buried at the All Muslim Association of America Cemetery at 1112 Brooke Road in Fredericksburg.
