Handgun Stolen in Rose Hill

Burglar stole medicine, gun.

A handgun was stolen from a home in Rose Hill earlier this month, according to the Fairfax County Police Department's latest crime report.

The burglary occurred at some point during a two-day period. Sometime between 1:30 p.m. on April 5 and 7:30 p.m. on April 6, a burglar or burglars broke into a home in the 6200 block of Thornwood Drive. Police say that the suspect gained entry to the home by forcing a rear door.

The burglar or burglars took a couple of items from the home, including a handgun and medicine.
