Townhouse Fire Near Beulah Street in Kingstowne Area Displaces Four Adults

No injuries reported.

A townhouse fire, called in just after 8:20 Saturday morning in the 7000 block of Desiree Court off of Beulah Street in the Kingstowne area, has displaced four adults, according to Fairfax County fire officials.

The fire started at the rear of the three-story home on Desiree Court, according to officials. The fire then extended to the roof and affected two adjoining townhouses.

No civilians or fire personnel were injured in the fire, according to Capt. Moreland of the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department.

Fire units were dispatched to two alarms. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Fire officials were still on the scene Saturday as of about 1 p.m. and Desiree Court was still blocked.

Thank God that no one was injured. My heartfelt prayers go out to these neighbors of mine who are displaced because of this. The amount of fire trucks and police made it seem like armageddon when they came down Morning View! May these affected families get expeditious repairmen so they can spend Chritmas in their homes.

Hi Susan, we were waiting for the official information from the fire department to post an update and I received it while I was away during the holiday. A link to the news release was posted below by another user and we'll have an aggregated piece from that up shortly. Thanks!
