New Italian Restaurant Opening Soon in Kingstowne Area

Osteria Marzano is gearing up to open in the Kingstowne area pretty soon. The Italian restaurant is located at 6361 Walker Lane (Suite 140) just south of the Capital Beltway in Building VI of Alexandria's Metro Park office complex.

The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner, with Executive Chef Carmine Marzano adding a new twist on popular classic Italian dishes, and creating local and seasonal fare made with some of the best ingredients. Marzano is the co-owner of the restaurant with Elena Pouchelon, managing co-owner.

The restaurant will also have its fair share of wine, beer and cocktail selections. Osteria Marzano's Executive Coordinator Anh Le said Wednesday that they are currently waiting for the liquor license and hope to open next week on Monday or Tuesday.

Osteria Marzano will include outdoor seating, waiter services and catering. Reservations and walk-ins are welcome and take out orders are also available, according to the restaurant's Facebook page.

According to a Craigslist post published June 4, the restaurant is also hiring for various positions, including bartenders, servers, pizza cooks, food preparation and cleaning.
