The water aisle in the Giant store located at 5870 Kingstowne Blvd., in Alexandria started to look a little empty around 2:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon as residents shopped for supplies in advance of Hurricane Sandy. Some of the shelves closer to the checkout aisles of the store also held shelves of water.
