The 2013 National Memorial Day Parade was televised around the world on Monday, and featured thousands of veterans, marching bands, movie and television stars and musical performers along Constitution Ave. in Washington, DC. 

The parade was emceed by veteran broadcaster Blanquita Cullum (the mother of Patch editor James Cullum) and Redskins stadium announcer Mark Kessler.

Grand Marshal J.R. Martinez - The U.S. Army veteran was wounded in Iraq in 2003, and has since become an actor, author, motivational speaker and radio host. He also appeared in Season 13 of ABC's "Dancing With The Stars."

Honorary Grand Marshal Robert Griffin III - Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III attended the parade with his parents, U.S. Army veterans Robert Griffin, Jr. and Jacqueline Griffin.

Honorary Grand Marshal Gary Sinise - The actor, the star of 'CSI: New York' is most well known for his role as Lt. Dan in 'Forrest Gump'. Sinise is co-founder of Operation Iraqi Children, which helps Americans donate school supplies to Iraqi schools. 

Trace Adkins - The Grammy-nominated country artist and actor is a spokesman for the Wounded Warrior Project and the American Red Cross. 

Joe Mantegna - The Tony Award-winner stars in Criminal Minds on CBS. In 2004, he was named Chair for the National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Taylor Hicks - More than 37 million viewers watched as Taylor Hicks became the winner of American Idol.

Miss America 2013 Mallory Hagan - Miss America 2013 Mallory Hagan is is the National Goodwill Ambassador for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
