Police: Cash Stolen from Business on Brookfield Plaza

On the above map, the addresses are block numbers, not specific home or business addresses.

The following items are from recent police updates through Jan. 30 from the Franconia Police District of the Fairfax County Police Department.

Burglary (red on map), 5:10 a.m., Jan. 26, 7000 block of Brookfield Plaza, Officers responded for a shattered front door. A business owner confirmed that cash was stolen.

In separate and unrelated incidents:

Robbery (blue on map), 1:30 p.m., Jan. 25, 7100 block of Rock Ridge Lane, An 18-year-old victim reported two men entered his home demanding property. The two men fled without anything when they realized the police had been called. The case is under investigation.

Larcenies (green on map):

  • 6100 block of Franconia Road, laptop computer from school
  • 6900 block of Hechinger Drive, cell phone from business
  • 5800 block of Kingstowne Boulevard, merchandise from business
  • 5600 block of Eton Court, items and money from residence
  • 7000 block of Ellingham Circle, rims and battery from vehicle
  • 6000 block of Edgeware Lane, movie projector from business
  • 5900 block of Coverdale Way, purse from residence
  • 7900 block of Conell Court, pressure washer from vehicle

Vehicle Thefts (purple on map):

  • 6900 block of Essex Avenue, 1986 Honda Odyssey
