Police Find Body in Manchester Lakes
Daniel Buxhoeveden, 29, was a resident of the Alexandria-area of Fairfax County
Fairfax County police officers found the dead body of a man in Manchester Lakes Monday morning, a police spokesperson said.
Police said the man was Daniel Buxhoeveden, 29, a resident of the Alexandria area of Fairfax County. Buxhoeveden's body was found in the 6000 block of Mersey Oaks, near some trash cans. Police responded to a call from a Manchester Lakes resident around 7 a.m. Monday.
Officer Eduardo Azcárate, a Franconia District Station spokesperson, said the cause of death had not yet been determined.

Thank you for your kind words. It has been a year and a 1/2 since DJ died and it is still so difficult. I find myself driving by the location where he was found and wishing he had not died alone. I was an ER nurse and witnessed many deaths. I was with them so they did not die alone. I wish someone had been there with my son.
