Police Hold Free Car Seat Inspections
The Fairfax County Police will be inspecting car seats at the Inova Franconia-Springfield Healthplex this Sunday.
A child car seat check will be conducted by police this week.

This Sunday, Fairfax County Police Department Certified Car Seat Inspectors will be at the Inova Franconia-Springfield Healthplex from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. conducting free car seat inspections.
According to a statement released by the police, September is Child Passenger Safety Month and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) says that 75 percent of car seats are not installed properly.
If you cannot attend the event on Sunday, inspections will also be held at the Franconia District Station from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the following dates:
- Oct. 6
- Oct. 20
- Nov. 3
- Nov. 17
- Dec. 1
- Dec. 15
