Police: Lorton Man Assaults Two Minors on Frontier Drive

The following items are from recent police updates through Sept. 28 from the Franconia Police District of the Fairfax County Police Department.
Assault (marked in red on above map), 6800 block of Frontier Drive, 9/23/12, 8:10 p.m. The two victims, both juveniles, reported the suspect was taunting them at a bus stop. The suspect allegedly began fighting one male victim and struck the second victim when she attempted to assist the first victim. They received minor injuries. Following a search of the area, Alante Rogers, 19, of Lorton, was charged with two counts of assault.
In separate and unrelated incidents:
Robbery (marked in blue on above map), 5800 block of Kingstowne Center, 9/20/12, 3 p.m. The victim was attempting to make a deposit at an ATM when the suspect approached. He brandished a handgun and demanded cash. He fled with the money and the victim was not injured.
Burglary (marked in green on above map), 5500 block of Industrial Road, 9/24/12, 6 a.m. An employee reported someone entered the business and stole tires. The location of entry could not be determined.
Burglary (marked in green on above map), 6400 block of Powatan Knoll Court, 9/21/12, 11:59 p.m. A resident reported someone entered his garage and stole several expensive rugs. How entry was made is still under investigation.

- 6200 block of Franconia Forest Lane - cash and medication from residence
- 6600 block of Frontier Drive - GPS, jacket and cell phone from vehicle
- 5700 block of Kingstowne Boulevard - merchandise from business
- 5800 block of Kingstowne Boulevard - wallet from business
- 5900 block of Kingstowne Towne Center - wallet from business
- 8300 block of Telegraph Road - jewelry from residence
