Police: Man Violates Protective Order in Springfield Area

The following items are from recent police updates through Jan. 9 from the Franconia Police District of the Fairfax County Police Department.
Violation of Stalking Protective Order (blue on map), 6800 block of Springfield Drive, 01/05/12, 8:44 p.m., Officers were called to a home for a family member who was violating the terms of a stalking protective order. Officers determined the victim was not inside the home at the time, only the suspect. A warrant was issued and served the following day when the suspect exited the home. Ronnie T. Wheeler, 70, was taken into custody and charged with the protective order violation.

- 5500 block of Franconia Road, multiple wallets and two purses from business
- 6400 block of General Green Way, chainsaw and power tools from vehicle
- 6300 block of Gravel Avenue, both tags from vehicle
- 5800 block of Kingstowne Boulevard, merchandise from business
- 5900 block of Kingstowne Center, license plate from vehicle
- 6200 block of Little Valley Way, cell phone from school
- 6600 block of Loisdale Road, four sets of headphones from business
- 7700 block of Martin Allen Court, laptop computer from vehicle
- 6200 block of Pioneer Drive, two boxes from residence
