Police: Possible 13th Victim Attacked by Serial Groper

A woman was reportedly groped Thursday in Franconia.

A 23-year-old woman was reportedly groped Thursday while walking on Floyd Avenue near Erving Street in the Franconia area of Fairfax County.

Fairfax County Police Department Public Information Officer Bud Walker confirmed that police are investigating the incident, which occured around 9 a.m., and believe that the report is the 13th incident in a series of assaults in the county.

The suspect is described as a six-foot Hispanic male with a close-cut beard wearing faded green pants, a black knit cap, a green jacket.

This is the second reported groping incident this week. A 49-year-old woman in Springfield was reportedly grabbed and groped Tuesday morning.

This is "bleeping" ridiculous. How much would it cost to stakeout this area? Or have a plainclothed policewoman (or policeman in disguise) walk this area waiting to be "approached" by this perp? The frequency of attacks int the SAME area indicates compulsion. This guy is screaming please catch me!

He is laughing at the police at this point. My thoughts exactly on why they don't put a decoy out there in an attempt to catch him.
