Police: Three Burglaries Reported in Kingstowne Area

The following items are from recent police updates through Nov. 20 from the Franconia Police District of the Fairfax County Police Department.
Burglary (blue on map), 5700 block of Telegraph Road, 11/15/12, 4:45 a.m. An employee reported someone broke into the business and stole cigarettes. Forced entry was made through a rear window.
Burglary (blue on map), 5500 block of General Washington Drive, 11/19/12, 10:40 a.m. Victim reported that sometime over the previous weekend, electronics and cash were taken from inside the business. Entry was gained through an unlocked door.
Burglary (blue on map), 6600 block of Frontier Drive, 11/20/12, 9:35 a.m. Employees of two businesses reported someone broke in and stole cash. Forced entry was made through a rear door.
In separate and unrelated incidents:
Robbery (red on map), 5700 block of South Van Dorn Street, 111/19/12, 8:50 p.m. A victim reported that an unknown male approached, brandished a knife, and ordered the woman down an embankment. Once on the embankment, she fought back. The suspect took her purse and fled. She was not injured. The suspect was described as Hispanic, approximately 25 years old, 5’9” tall and 200 pounds. He was wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.

- 6100 block of Franconia Road - laptop computer from vehicle

- 6400 block of Caleb Court - 2011 Honda Odyssey
