Poll: Obama Ahead by 5 Points in Virginia
Public Policy Polling shows Romney with 51-45 advantage with male vote in the state.
With the election less than two months away, President Barack Obama leads the state of Virginia by 5 points, 51 to 46, in a match-up with former Gov. Mitt Romney, according to a poll released Sunday by Public Policy Polling of Raleigh, NC.
"Barack Obama continues to look like the definite favorite in Virginia," said Dean Debnam, president of Public Policy Polling, in a news release. "And it's hard to imagine a scenario where Obama would win Virginia but lose the election."
The Virginians who are "most excited" about the presidential race? Women, young voters and African Americans, the poll noted in its news release.
The poll also showed:
- Obama leading with women voters 56-42 percent and 56-37 percent with young voters. Romney leads the way when it comes to male voters, white voters and older voters.
- Romney leads male voters with a 51-45 advantage; 57-40 lead with white voters, and a 54-43 lead with senior voters, the polling showed.
- Romney was also ahead, 47-45, among independent voters polled.
The poll surveyed 1,021 likely Virginia voters from Sept. 13-16.

The dynamic duo of Romney and Ryan would drive the entire economy into a nose dive as long as it benefits the richest Americans. Income inequality is endangering the Middle Class and making paupers of us all who don’t have those millions upon millions of dollars. Read more about the role of Romney’s riches in this election and the power of his sacred undergarments at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2012/05/mitt-romneys-magic-mormon-underwear.html The working class of our country can’t AFFORD to allow this election to be bought and sold!

Attention Virginia Seniors on Medicare and All Others Using Government Assistance!!!
This is what Mitt Romney thinks of you and ALL OF AMERICANS dependent on government support:
“There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them.”
“..my job is not to worry about those people. I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives”
Mitt Romney, speaking at fundraiser, Spring 2012

Hes not talking about SS or medicare that people have paid into their entire lives. Actually Obama care is raiding the medicare fund.
He is talking about able bodied people in thier 20s and 30s who use thier welfare and foodstamps to buy lottery tickets and 40 ounce beers.
But the left trying to scare seniors is as old as or older than the senior citizens themselves.

I see that Obama's campaign workers are scanning the papers and quick to reply. Too bad you don't just let people make comments. It is obvious the first two are campaign workers.

Interesting note: The person taking credit for the release of this video is Jimmy Carter's grandson (seriously).
Mitt Romney already responded to this release. He was answering a question about getting votes--his remarks about who would vote for him. Chuck Todd is (as we speak) changing what he said in his response last night. Romney has asked for the whole video to be released so that his comments could be taken in context (which was who was being targeted for votes.)
This is certainly no worse than Obama talking about the people (in Western Pennsylvania) who are "bitter clingers" to religion and guns.
Romney's comment was about the 47% who do not pay income tax and think they would not benefit from tax cuts. Obama's comment attacked people who believe in God.

Another comment about the poll:
I highly recommend that anyone truly interested go read the questions that were asked. PPP asked two negative "leading" questions about Mitt Romney's taxes and his comment about foreign policy.
There were no questions about Obama's handlng of the Middle East crisis or Afghanistan.
PPP only claims to be non-partisan. If you read the questions asked, you will see that it is operating on behalf of Dems.

This is one poll. Look at the average of several polls, which is closer to reality.
