Suspended Rose Hill Elementary Teacher Not Getting Fired
Violet Nichols will be able to continue teaching.
Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) has decided not to pursue the termination of Violet Nichols, the 6th-grade teacher at Rose Hill Elementary who was suspended from teaching in 2010 due to accusations of incompetence, the Washington Post reports.
FCPS Spokesman John Torre told the Washington Post in an email that Nichols has not received a new teaching assignment yet.
The Rose Hill Elementary School PTA President declined to comment on this issue.
