Two women reported they were fondled in the Springfield area last Thursday, Nov. 1, according to Fairfax County Police officials.

The women are the eighth and ninth to be attacked by a man who is allegedly fondling women across the Springfield, Franconia and Falls Church area. One woman on Thursday was in the 7200 block of Commerce Street. The other was on Hibbling Avenue, where an earlier incident occurred, WTOP reported.

The series of attacks started Sept. 7.

Police released a sketch of the suspect in October. Falls Church police and Fairfax County police are both searching for him.
