Two Springfield Men Arrested for Smashing Mailboxes

The young adults were spotted smashing mailboxes last week in Springfield.

 

Two men were arrested last Wednesday in Springfield for destroying property after a witness noticed them smashing mailboxes with two juveniles in the 6500 block of Hackberry Street and called the police.  

The arrests come after several mailboxes in the area have been damaged over the past month. Police are investigating any possible connection between the incidents. 

"This case is a perfect example of the community and the police working together to protect the community," said the police in a statement released by the Franconia District Station.  "Please, do not hesitate to make the call!"
