UPDATE: Vision for Vacancies: Festival at Manchester Lakes

What would you like to see at 7007 Manchester Blvd.?

Update: Wednesday, Aug. 1

The leasing agent for this property said Pet Supplies Plus has just signed a lease for this space.

The other properties in the shopping center are still available.

Original Post:

Five Star Carpet & Rugs recently moved out of this storefront property located in the Festival at Manchester Lakes shopping center on Manchester Blvd. to a new location on Telegraph Road.

Other retailers in the shopping center include Shoppers Food Warehouse and Manchester Bagel. Within the past two years, Genghis Grill, Dunkin Donuts and Douglas Crab Cakes have moved into the shopping center.

According to the leasing agent's website, there are also three other spaces available, including a 5,000 square foot pad.

Would like to see a Mexican restaurant such as Guapo's or Uncle Julio's. If not a Mexican restaurant, then an upscale steakhouse.

Guapos would be great. Yogurt shop, Wings place, Good Stuff Eatery, Choppted Salad restaurant are other choices.

I want and I am, confident many crave WAWA all over Fairfax County. I have no conception why they are good for PW County and all over Southern Maryland but we are relegated to 7-11.

Why did the carpet place and karate place leave? Did management force them out? They had been there for years.
