Vocelli Pizza Changing Hours in March
The pizza place will open at 10 a.m., an hour earlier than their current opening time.
Vocelli Pizza in the Rose Hill Plaza will begin opening at 10 a.m. starting Friday, March 1 and close at 11 p.m. The store currently opens at 11 a.m. throughout the week.
Owner Nasir Kia said the changes were made by the company and have nothing to do with the addition of new competition from Little Caesars which became the third pizza place at the plaza.
"I don't have any problem with it or Mama Mia being here," Kia said.
In previous Patch coverage of the new Little Caesars, readers seem to differ. Maurisa Potts said the shopping center could use something different, and doesn't need a third pizza shop.
"I live close to this shopping center and its disappointing another pizza place is going in. We have Mamma Mia, Vocelli and now Little Caesars. Three pizza places. Three. Nice way to diversify your tenants leasing company," she wrote.
Kristie Kolling agreed saying she would have preferred to see a bakery, Thai restaurant or a Baskin Robbins instead of another pizza shop.
The current hours for Vocelli Pizza are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Friday-Saturday. Starting March 1, the store will be open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day.
