The Lee Mount Vernon Soccer Club ’01 Patriots Boys Academy is currently holding tryouts to fill-out remaining slots on its two NCSL U11 travel soccer teams for the Spring 2013 season. The Academy seeks dedicated, athletically gifted players who are eager to continue their development and play youth soccer at the highest level. Players must be born after Aug. 1, 2001. Tryouts will be held at Lee District Park, Mondays and Thursdays, from 6:30 pm to 8 pm, Jan. 14 through Feb. 4. More About Lee District RECenter
Lee District RECenter is an 83,600-square-foot facility managed by the Fairfax County Park Authority and located in Lee District Park off of Telegraph Road. The center contains a pool area, gymnasium and fitness facility, complete with basketball courts, a running track, fitness equipment and more. Sections of the facility are available to rent for parties and other private events, and a half-day preschool is also available.
