Chaise Lounge Band, Moody Blues' Justin Hayward and Comedy Night

You've made it to the middle of the week. To celebrate, here are a few events in the Kingstowne area you should know about for Wednesday, Aug. 14.

Chaise Lounge Band. There are just a few more performances in this year's Lee District Nights Summer Concert Series. Like the other bands this year, Chaise Lounge Band is a group you don't want to miss. Concerts at Lee District Park start at 7:30 p.m. every Wednesday from June to August.

Wine and Cheese with Ed Dietsch. Join Ed Deitsch, Candidate for VA House of Delegates 42nd District for a wine and cheese meet and greet at the home of Maritza Zermeno and Gil Davenport at 7 p.m. Wednesday. RSVP here.

Rock out with Moody Blues front man Justin Hayward with Mike Dawes at The Birchmere, 3701 Mount Vernon Ave., 703-549-7500. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. and will call may be picked up at the box office as early as 5 p.m. $65 plus ticketing fees.

It’s Ha Ha at Ri Ra, which means Wednesday comedy night at Ri-Ra restaurant, 2915 Wilson Blvd. in Arlington. Laugh in the back room while enjoying half-price burgers and $3 Stellas. Showroom opens at 7 p.m.
