Project Lansdowne Reads

Project Landsdowne Reads.  To some -- reading is a
tool. To others -- reading is a tremendous sense of enjoyment. To kids – it is a magical journey, a trip to places and worlds and things yet unknown. And, it is a necessity to getting, and keeping, good grades. During the summer, reading time is often lost because of other activities that take us here and there and everywhere. What parent hasn’t heard “Mom …. Dad … I am sooooooo bored,” by this time in the summer?  Enter – Project Landsdowne Reads.  Do you still have last year’s summer reads in the bottom of your pool bag? Have
your children outgrown some of their books? Why not share, swap, trade, pass along your books (for all ages) to others here in our community? Even those of us with electronic readers still like the feel of turning a page of a great summerread! Come to the Landsdowne Book Swap!  Log in your reading minutes.  Get information about local reading programs and links to online resources.  Get coupons for area used book stores. Find a treasured ”must read.” Everyone is welcome
