    From 6:30-8pm, The Art League Gallery hosts the reception for the All-Media Membership Show and Baa-merica! Icons Revisited, Leslie Blackmon’s solo show of crochet sheep sculptures posing as popular American icons.

    Nest Scavenger Hunt
    Visitors are invited to go on a scavenger hunt to find in-studio nest creations by Torpedo Factory artists, part of Target Gallery’s, The Nest Project.

    Doggie Nest Tour
    Take your canine companion for a walk along the Potomac River waterfront to tour The Nest Project’s outdoor installations. Pick up a free map and begin your tour on the dock outside of the Torpedo Factory.

    Pet Adoption
    Bring home a new best friend at an adoption event hosted by the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria. Representatives will also be on hand to provide information about programs and services, and donations can be made to help animals in need across our region.
