Franconia United Methodist Church, 6037 Franconia Rd, Alexandria, invites children grades 1-8 to attend Taste and See: God is Good! Vacation Bible School, July 11-15 9:00 AM to Noon. Taste & See will help children look at food differently, through the eyes of faith! As they participate in fun worship and activities and hear stories of manna in the wilderness, a woman who shares her last bit of food, or Jesus offering himself as bread and wine, kids will learn about gratitude, generosity, and "spiritual food" - and how food is a contact reminder of God's active presence in our midst! There is a separate class for children ages 4 to kindergarten. Registration deadline is July 1. We cannot accommodate walk-in registrations. Register at http://www.franconiaumc.org.
