Fairfax Connector Lowers Rate from Springfield to Tysons
The new fares went into effect July 1.

Need to get to the other side of Fairfax County from Springfield and only have pocket change? No problem. Fairfax Connector's Express bus service has lowered their rates.
It now costs $1.60 with a SmarTrip® card or $1.80 in cash. The Connector offers multiple buses throughout the day that leave from Springfield during peak hours during the weekday.
Fairfax Connector fare changes:
Route 394: Saratoga – Pentagon Express
- Old fare: $5.35 with SmarTrip®/cash
- New fare: $3.65 if paid by SmarTrip®, $4 in cash
- Old fare: $5.35 with SmarTrip®/cash
- New fare: $3.65 if paid by SmarTrip®, $4 in cash
- Old fare: $3.65 if paid by SmarTrip®, $4 in cash
- New fare: $1.60 if paid by SmarTrip®, $1.80 in cash
- Current fare: $3.65 if paid by SmarTrip®, $4 in cash
- New fare: $1.60 if paid by SmarTrip®, $1.80 in cash
- Current fare: $3.65 if paid by SmarTrip®, $4 in cash
