Anniversary of London 7/7 Attacks, Chocolate Day

  2. Today is the 6th anniversary of the London bombings. On July 7, 2005, terrorists detonated three bombs in the London Underground and one on a double-decker bus. This became known as the 7/7 attacks.
  3. There’s a risk for scattered thunderstorms this afternoon, tonight and tomorrow. Today’s high temperatures will be in the 90s. Cooler air will come through tonight and tomorrow’s high temperatures will be in the mid-80s.
  4. “Space shuttle launch” has been a popular search term according to Google Trends because the final launch of the space shuttle Atlantis is scheduled for tomorrow.
  5. Today is officially Chocolate Day and Strawberry Sundae Day. Leave room for desert after lunch today!
