Furniture Store Coming to Telegraph Road Shopping Center

The furniture store owners signed the lease last Thursday with Jackson Prentice Real Estate.

Furniture store Joglo House will take the place of the former restaurant and bar Telegraph Station, according to Jackson Prentice of Jackson Prentice Real Estate. Owners Gary Jones and his wife Betty signed the lease for the property last week. The furniture store will specialize in Indonesian furniture and artwork.

Solid natural wood furniture and art will be available at Joglo House at reasonable prices, said Gary. The influence for the furniture store offerings comes from the culture where Betty grew up, in Indonesia. The furniture will include bedroom furniture as well as tables and other pieces for the home.

Gary said Joglo House's prices will likely be about 25 to 30 percent cheaper than other local furniture stores.
