Intersection at Telegraph and South Kings Highway Closed Friday
Fairfax Water will be doing utility work Friday evening until early Saturday morning.
The intersection of Telegraph Road and South Kings Highway will be closed Friday starting at 9 p.m. until early Saturday morning. Fairfax Water plans to conduct utility work during this time.
Jennifer McCord of the Virginia Department of Transportation said because of the location and the size of the equipment needed to complete the project, the road will be closed and message boards are being installed to inform motorists.
McCord said Fairfax Water has established detour routes, and the Fairfax County Police Department will assign an officer to assist with traffic control.
