Landlord Looks to Fill Telegraph Station Spot

Jackson Prentice Real Estate Service receives inquiries about property that used to house a sandwich shop, music venue.

Jackson Prentice Real Estate Service is hoping to have the old Telegraph Station location leased by the end of January, Associate Broker Hannah Traul said Friday.

The property is located at the Telegraph Road Shopping Center in the Rose Hill area.

Telegraph Station was a coffee and sandwich shop and music venue that opened in 2010 and closed during the week of June 4. The restaurant started promoting and hosting local music acts in late 2011. Other businesses in the shopping center include, Tobacco Shop, Burke & Herbert Bank and Carpet and Flooring Store.

Traul said they've received a few inquiries but haven't leased the commercial property yet. According to the website, the property is 2,250 sq. ft. and will be leased for $4,700 a month.
