The event featured a panel of three small business aficionado's (Sonja Caison, Vik Patel and Tracey Wood) who shared their experiences starting ventures and provided helpful business advice to the audience.

"This is the first session in our business roundtable speaker series which takes place on the second Friday of each month at 8:30 am at the SpringHill Suites," said Edith Frankel Kelleher, executive director for the SFDC. "There will be a different topic each month, such as government contracting, financing, and small business programs. We expect to do seven or eight sessions."

Kelleher added these sessions are a great way to encourage business growth and development in the Fairfax County/Richmond Highway corridor.
