PHOTOS: Kix, Local Bands Perform at Empire in Springfield
The famous '80s rock band entertained hundreds of followers and metal rock fans in the Springfield area.
Hundreds showed up at the Empire in Springfield to see the rock band Kix perform. Area bands from northern Virginia, DC and Maryland kicked off the show. Band in Friday night's lineup included — Devastate, Baby Jayne, Any Given Sin, Kat Atomic and Convictus.
As the night went on, the crowd quickly grew from a few dozen to hundreds, and Kix — the famous '80s rock band which still has a huge following — hit the stage around 11:30 p.m.
