Police Investigating Robbery in Mount Vernon Area
Masked gunman walked into a restaurant and seized an undisclosed amount of cash.

Fairfax County police are investigating a robbery that occurred on the 5800 block of North Kings Highway.
According to a police report, a masked man walked into a restaurant and displayed a handgun to an employee. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot. There were no reports of injuries. Authorities didn't provide the name of the restaurant.
The suspect is described as a male in his 20s, standing 6 feet tall with a slender build.
