Presidential Inauguration Guests in Town? What to Do in Kingstowne

Where to go, what to do and where to eat in Kingstowne this weekend if you're hosting out-of-town guests for the 2013 Presidential Inauguration.

Do you have guests in town for Inauguration Weekend?

Chances are, your guests will want to do more than sit on your couch waiting for the second inauguration of President Barack Obama on Monday. So, we’ve rounded up some things you can do right here in Kingstowne to keep your guests entertained.

Where to Eat

For a good meal and drinks, your guests can dine at Romano's Macaroni Grill, Uno Chicago Grill, Shiro's Japanese Steak House or Bonefish Grill. If your guests are into a more lively, sports-driven atmosphere, King Street Blues or the Bungalow are the perfect locations.

Looking for something more traditional and cheap, try Chili's or Ruby Tuesday. You can always hop over to Route 1 for more options if needed.

Things to Do

Kingstowne provides a lot of shopping opportunities. Don't deprive your guests of some good deals or just the chance to browse to pass the time. You can always find a reason to stop by Kohl's, T J Maxx or Bath & Body Works.

If you and your guests are interested in relieving some stress or a friendly game of miniature golf, stop by Top Golf on South Van Dorn Street.

What else would you suggest doing in and around Kingstowne this weekend? Tell us in the comments!

I try to take out of town guests to local places instead of the chains they have at home. Matsuri Sushi and Grounded coffee are my recommendations.

Ditto to Grounded. My out of town guests always love the personal atmosphere and great coffe & food.
