Springfield Town Center: What Stores Would You Like to See?

Progress on the construction of Springfield Town Center is moving right along. The new town center is expected to be completed in 2014.

Vornado Realty Trust previously said the new shopping center will include a multi-screen cinema, a new main entrance with valet parking, a health club, 700-seat food court, multiple kids' areas throughout the property and more than 7,600 parking spaces.

During construction, the anchor stores Macy's, JCPenney and Target are still open. Other stores from the mall have moved to various locations in Kingstowne and Springfield.

Vornado previously released a new video preview for the new Springfield Town Center. Watch the new video here.

In recent months, Patch has attempted to contact a media representative to find out more about a tenant list for the up and coming Springfield Town Center, but phone calls have not been returned.

So instead, share your thoughts on what you would like to see at the new and improved Springfield Town Center.

Do you want some of the old stores to return to the new Springfield Town Center? What new stores and/or restaurants and features would you like to see when it opens next year?
