Woman Robbed Friday at Knifepoint in Mount Vernon
Police arrested and charged Raymond Gardner with robbery.
Late Friday night, an unidentified woman was robbed while walking on the 7300 block of Richmond Highway. According to the police report, Raymond Gardner, 42, accosted her and stole property. Officials didn't reveal what was seized.
Fairfax County Police said the woman didn't suffer any injuries and added responding officers were successful apprehending Gardner shortly after the crime.
Police charged Gardner with robbery.
