At the Movies: 'Mission Impossible,' 'Sherlock,' and new 'Chipmunks'

Three new films debut this weekend

A mystery, an action thriller, and cute creatures debut this weekend on the big screen. The three new films that are opening are “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows,” starring Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr., “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol,” starring Tom Cruise and “Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked,” which promises to deliver a second dose of chipmunk cuteness in theaters.
