Lee's PAAMAS to Have Car Wash Saturday

Donations from Saturday's fundraiser will go toward mentor training and activities with PAAMAS members.

Lee High School's Powerful African-American Males About Success (PAAMAS) will have a car wash from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the high school.

Members of PAAMAS are accepting donations during their car wash fundraiser. All proceeds from Saturday's fundraiser will go toward mentor training and activities with PAAMAS members.

Social Worker Marcella Fulmore started PAAMAS in fall 2006. Through PAAMAS, Fulmore arranges for the students to mentor younger students and participate in volunteer work. She also arranges college tours, inspirational guest speakers, sporting events and movie nights for the students in the program.
