Couples of Woodlawn Valentine's Day Tea

Come experience one of Woodlawn’s most popular events: Tea and Tour at Woodlawn, on Sunday, February 13, at 1 p.m.  You can celebrate this holiday with friends, family, or a significant other.  While enjoying a delicious meal, you will hear romantic and classical tunes played by harpist Chris Van Dyke. The festive spread will include Woodlawn’s Valentine blend of tea, finger sandwiches, breads, and desserts.

The special  Couples of Woodlawn tour will celebrate some of the loving pairs who shared in Woodlawn’s 2005-year history:  Martha and George Washington, who raised Woodlawn’s mistress; Eleanor and Lawrence Lewis, the mansion’s first owners; the married children of the Lewises, and subsequent owners of the estate: John and Rachel Mason and Oscar and Bertha Underwood.
