Kingstowne Burger King to start delivery on Monday

UPDATE: The Kingstowne Burger King now won't start delivering until January 30, according to the Burger King website. Check with Patch on the 30th as we try out delivery. 

Want some Burger King but don't want to make the drive? Burger-lovers in Kingstowne will soon be able to order without leaving the house--and customers in Springfield already can.

Burger King has been quietly testing a delivery program in the Washington metro area, according to USA TODAY. Now the company is expanding the program to more sites, including two near Kingstowne.

The Burger King at 5701 Backlick Road is offering delivery. To order, go to BKdelivers.com. The Kingstowne Burger King at 5890 Kingstowne Towne Center will start delivering on Monday.

A $2 delivery fee is charged for each order. Orders must be at least $8 or $10, depending on location. Burger King will only deliver within a ten-minute drive from the store. Delivery can take up to 30 minutes, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Burger King locations in Annandale and Burke will also start delivery service on Monday.
