Vote from 5 a.m. Monday to 9 a.m. Friday.

UPDATE: Congratulations to  for winning the Best of Patch poll this week in the "Best Mechanic" category!

Voting by Patch readers began on Monday and Hometown saw 6 votes by the time the poll closed Friday at 9 a.m.

Stay tuned for our next "Best of" poll coming up Monday—voting will begin at 5 a.m.

--

Have you had experience with a great mechanic in Kingstowne or Rose Hill? Who do you trust to work on your wheels?

Patch wants you to tell us all about it in this week's "Patch Readers' Choice" survey!

You have until Friday at 9 a.m. to tell us what you think about your mechanic by leaving a comment about either below, in the comments section, or click on the businesses listed below (linked to the directory on our site) and tell us why the business is your favorite, and let other readers know the inside scoop.

Did we miss one? Let us know in the comments and we'll add it here!

What will the winner get? Bragging rights! They'll be able to tell everyone they were voted a "Patch Readers' Choice."

The Patch editor will determine the winner, based on poll results, comments and reviews.

And in the event of a tie in our survey, we will break the tie by counting the positive comments written both below in the comments section and on the mechanic's listing on Patch. So please let us know why you think your choice is the best.

Because this poll is not scientific, the poll is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and your comments and reviews (with comments and reviews weighted more heavily in the outcome). So, please vote only once per survey, per Patch site.

AMERIGO Service Station..2 locations, Telegraph Road and Franconia Road. Both are excellent. They always get it right. They are efficient, trustworthy, and thorough. I don't trust my vehicles to anyone else.

Franconia Gulf, owned and operated by Ross Black, is the best we have found and we have taken two cars there for almost 10 years! We highly recommend.

Randy Allen at the Amerigo Station across from the Governmental Center does good honest work and is the favorite of any number of "little ol' ladies" cause he treats them so well. Pretty good work for his men customers, too. Their gas is usually the lowest price in the neighborhood.

I take my cars to William at the BP on Franconia across from the St Lawrence church. He does quality work and is inexpensive. The dealer wanted $600 to fix my bumper and to leave it for 2 days. He charged $75 I got it back same day.

My husband and I highly recommend Franconia Gulf. Ross and his crew have kept our cars in excellent shape for many years. They'll tell you when something needs to be replaced and when it still has plenty life left in it. Ross Black is an honorable mechanic and business owner.
