New traffic pattern, Rose Hill Elementary PTA Family Restaurant Night, Edison High School Marching Band wins competition

- Congratulations to the Edison High School Marching Eagles. They took 1st in Music Individual and 2nd Overall in this weekend’s performance competition held in Maryland.
- Traffic Pattern Update: Tuesday, Oct. 4 - Eastbound Franconia-Springfield Parkway will be reduced to two lanes at the Fairfax County Parkway (Route 7100) extension. This road configuration is permanent to allow for on-off ramps to and from the Fairfax County Parkway and Rolling Road north. Wednesday, Oct. 5, - Northbound lanes on the Fairfax County Parkway (7100) extension into Springfield via Rolling Road will be shifted to the right onto new lanes between Franconia-Springfield Parkway and Rolling Road. Please use caution when traveling this new traffic pattern.
