Beltway Outer Loop Overnight Lane Reductions June 14

Motorists urged to use alternate routes to avoid delays

Weather permitting, the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project will be reducing lane capacity on the Capital Beltway Outer Loop (I-95/495 North) overnight on Tuesday night, June 14 into Wednesday morning, June 15, to place an overhead sign.  Starting at 11 p.m., the left two lanes of the Outer Loop will be closed to traffic between Van Dorn Street and the Eisenhower Connector.  During this time, two lanes will remain open.  By 5:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, all lanes will be reopened and traffic movement will be fully restored.  No detours will be in place during this time, but motorists are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid delays.

Please use caution when traveling in this area. All construction-related work and dates are subject to change, depending on weather, material and contractor availability or other unforeseen conditions.
