1. Eat  this Saturday at Bush Hill Presbyterian Church.
2. Listen to Edison's  while enjoying dessert and shopping for Pampered Chef gifts on December 9. If you can't make the concert, you can order from Pampered Chef online and still support the Edison orchestras.
3. Several branches of the Fairfax County Public Library system are holding special open houses in December with live music and activities. The closest open house is at the Martha Washington Library on December 17.
4. Author Mark Twain was born on this day in 1835 in Missouri.
5. Today is Computer Security Day.
