  1. Today will be mostly cloudy with a high temperature near 96 degrees, but heat index values will be as high as 104 degrees. There is a 40 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. 
  2. Borders is closing all of its remaining locations, including the store on .

  4. There will be a meeting of the BRAC-133 Advisory Group at 7 p.m. tomorrow in the Beatley Library in Alexandria.
