Former South County Football Coach Pleads Guilty to Drug Charge

A former football coach at South County and West Springfield High Schools pleaded guilty Thursday to dealing anabolic steroids. Jeffrey Reagan, 44, of Bristow, was arrested last June with his alleged supplier at the Sully Plaza Shopping Center in Chantilly.

New Synthetic Drug 'N-Bomb' Banned in Virginia

Across the country the LSD-like substance commonly referred to as 'N-Bomb' is causing a stir. The hallucinogenic substance has caused multiple deaths, including one in New Orleans where a 21-year-old male died from taking one drop of it. Although it's not a problem in Northern Virginia, it is already banned.

Vandals Smash 44 Cars Overnight in Centreville

Residents living on several streets in Centreville awoke yesterday morning to find their car windows smashed and items stolen from their cars.

Sometime between 1 and 5 a.m. Thursday, suspects smashed the windows out of 44 vehicles in Centreville and stole items from them, according to Fairfax County Police.

FBI Launches New Website Dedicated to Identifying Unknown Bank Robbers

The FBI recently launched a new national website dedicated to identifying unknown bank robbers from the FBI’s 56 field offices, according to a recent news release from the Department of Justice.

Construction on I-95 Express Lanes Will Impact Fairfax County

Construction on the new express lanes on I-95 has begun and residents of Northern Virginia will be affected by the project. The express lanes will begin in Stafford County and end between Edsall Road and Duke Street on I-395 in Farifax County, where a ramp will be built to carry motorists from the express lanes to the regular roads. Harris taught sixth grade at Mount Vernon Woods. An email was sent by Interim Principal Molly Bensinger-Lacy to parents and community members Thursday morning announcing Harris' passing. The cause of death was not specified.
